What an sgit vault issgit-ai 0.21.0 · git for encrypted vaults
1Encrypted on the client
your machine · vault folder
AES-256-GCM on the client
server · ciphertext only
Whoever has the vault key has the memory. One secret, no reset.
2Versioned like git
sgit commit…
sgit branch merge…
sgit push…
sgit clone…
3Ephemeral when you want
One memory, shared by agents
A fresh clone gets the whole history
One vault per run: deleted, checked
A folder on your machine. Files are encrypted on the client before anything leaves.AES-256-GCM. The server stores ciphertext objects only.
It works like git: commit, branch, merge, push, clone. Each agent works on its own branch; the branches merge back into main. Timings are medians of real runs.
Why agents: a shared, versioned memory across machines and agents.A fresh clone anywhere gets the whole history back. Or: one vault per run, deleted at the end, and the delete verified.
sgit: Apache-2.0, sgit.ai. Figures: data/vaults.json, recorded runs of the ruv.sgit hive against a local SG/Send vault server. agent@riskmandate.ai
